3pm burn
Teaching swimming @ 3pm is quite a new experience until it turned into a nightmare that is..for those of you who are clueless..i've just started teaching swimming (part time) for about a month now..im having fun..but i have to travel lots..
So anyway..Jackie (the instructor in-charge) told me to start the class first..and that she'll be coming later(she had a class somewhere else)..And so i started the 3pm's class with a clueless mind as to what the kids swimming level where..but im thankful that it was a small class of 4..it was stil managable..the class was like my 1st solo debut..haha..
At times i felt like a dummy cos i had to ask the kids "so..what have u'll learnt in the previous class??" every now and then..but all well ends well..Jackie came only towards the end of the class..and i guess i did pretty well..at least i did not screw up anything..haha
Not bad for my 1st time..handling a class by myself..mind you that i do not have a solid foundation in teaching yet..haha..
And the nightmare...under the sun for an hour like that..SUNBURNT!!!yeaps..i was too smart for not using any sunblock..and so i mut suffer now..my back and hands are as red as lobsters...and they're hot too...

Blown away a SCHOLARSHIP!!!
I feel like an ultimate idiot right now..there's no other words i can think of to decribe my stupidity and dumb fate..for losing an AUS SCHOLARSHIP!!!WTF....
After a long break from the Internet, i finally checked my email..and to my surprised i got an email from UNSW about the Golden Jubilee Scholarship award that i applied for late of last year..
Surprise turn into immediate horror when i find out that they had sent me an email in Dec 05 to inform me that i was awarded the scholarship..but there was no respond fr my side..i hAVE NEVER RECEIVED THIS EMAIL (the 15 dec one)i cant type any further...so just read the copy...

Obviously i am thrilled that i actually got the offer...considering what my previous college lecturer have told me once "Our broadcasting students application for this award are rejected most of the time..." So im the different one...different and dumb for that matter..
So i've blew away my only chance to study overseas..all the dreams that i've had about studying abroad are flushed down the toilet..
And now..i've to go back to my crappy assignments..my boring uni life..my unproductive lifestyle..but im stil thankful that i have good friends that'll keep me going with this crappy life..
I have replied the mail though...minutes ago...although i dont see any miracle hapening for me..I feel like puking blood and jamming my head on the wall..sigh..

Grand celebration begins...
This year, all of us(friends born in 1985) wil turn 21..wether we like it or not..so we can all expect some massive birthday bash through out the year..2006 21st birthday celebration kick off with Wenya's party at Neway Karaoke @ Times Square KL last Sat.

failed to capture klcc...but the outcome was cool..
To begin with, me, San n Yeemei (in the same car) have no idea how to drive there, so we had to tail WY's bro..and guess what..we got alil tech-y this year..we used walkie-talkie..how bout that..the 3 of us were stunned when WY 1st handed us the gadget..but at the end, we were practically talking nonsense over it..WY said some really really mushy stuff to YM too...it was simply hillarious..then, there was also a short time where we experienced some crossed signals..there was no illegal operation though..ahaha..

When we 1st stepped in Times Square..we were amused..first of all we hardly go there, then we are some how impress with its appearance. There was the long and steep elevator...which felt much wider than the usual ones..then the outstanding graphics that spice up the walls..and simply the huge amount of space everywhere..suddenly we look like primary kids on a school trip to the museum...woah...haha
why is it called karaoke box by the way??
Neway Karaoke is cun..and i mean it..the atmosphere was great, the environment was cool and edgy..and every room had its own personality..and our room even had a toilet inside..(k..im being alil jakun here)..

The best part of Neway to me...was not even the design of the place..or the list of songs they have...not even the unique rooms..

miriam yeung's concert costume...made of bras..
and so...the best part of neway...is its abundance of glorious food..which i would say is up to those highly rated hotel standards..the buffet was simply terrific..and the most brilliant addition is Jap food of course..we were stuffing ourselves with salmon sashimis and oysters..macam takut tak dapat makan lagi..it felt like a big makan party rather than a karaoke night...check San's blog for more pics..
All in..it was a great night of celebration..songs..food and beers..what can be better..and our birthday gal was definitely the star of the night..singing almost every single songs that appeared on screen..hebat..
I out from the list..few more to go..next up is Michelle's birthday party..
